Curriculum

We have now fully transitioned to a “Clinic First Model”. This model was implemented to place a higher value on more frequent and earlier experiences at our Family Medicine Continuity site at the Moreno Valley CHC. Given that residents spend the largest percentage of their time here in the clinic, we want to make the highest value experience possible. With this model residents have been able to establish relationships with continuity patients earlier in their residency which has improved the overall experience in the clinic. Since implementation we have continued to make iterative changes each year based on resident feedback. As with any system, change is constantly needed to improve.
