Welcome to the RUHS / UCR Family Medicine Residency Program!
Hello, and thank you for your interest in our program. RUHS/UCR Family Medicine residency is a purpose driven, 12-12-12 program serving the Inland Empire in Southern California. Our residency provides a master class in working with marginalized populations in a safety net institution, which can be difficult, but ultimately immensely rewarding. We seek applicants who are passionate about working in an underserved setting where we provide assistance to all who seek it.
Our faculty group provides unparalleled expertise in many areas, from community involvement and advocacy, to sports medicine, women’s health and academics. We strive to expose learners to all aspects of Family Medicine so that they may find or expand upon their passion.
Our dynamic curriculum is regularly updated to reflect the interests of our faculty and resident physicians, with the ultimate goals of improving training and reducing health disparities in our diverse community. We use an innovative Clinic-First model to improve resident physician continuity and engagement in the community.
