FAQ

The Access Clinic provides multiple accommodations, including wheelchair scales and lifts, a ceiling track lift and 30-minute visit time slots. We have a supportive staff and a nurse case manager who work to make the process for patient visits as smooth as possible. We work with patients to ensure transportation access, can do health care visits from a patient's car and allow for home lab draws.

We offer a wide array of medical services, including primary care, testing, health education and even transportation. We help patients navigate the system and fill out forms.

In order to be a patient at the Access Clinic, a person must be 17 years of age or older; have an Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) that began prior to age 18 that they will continue to have indefinitely; must be a Department of Developmental Services Regional Center Client, receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI); and must have significant limitations in three or more of the following areas: self care, mobility, self-direction, language learning or economic self-sufficiency.

The Access Clinic accepts Medi-Cal, Medicare and IEHP insurances.

The Access Clinic is open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
