Gift Shop hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. The Gift Shop is closed on weekends and holidays.
Friends and family are part of the healing process. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we must continue to take extra steps to protect our patients, staff, visitors, and the community.
Visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Where permitted, patients may have two visitors per day. Additionally, only those 12 years and older are allowed, including family. Thank you for understanding the need for these precautions.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the State Public Health Officer Order of February 7, 2022:
Visitation will be limited to the following:
1. Visitors that are fully vaccinated*
- COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (issued by the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control & Prevention or WHO Yellow Card) which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided and date last dose administered); OR
- A photo of a Vaccination Record Card as a separate document; OR
- A photo of the client's Vaccination Record Card stored on a phone or electronic device; OR
- Documentation of COVID-19 vaccination from a health care provider; OR
- Digital record that includes a QR code that when scanned by a SMART Health Card reader displays to the reader client name, date of birth, vaccine dates and vaccine type.
2. Visitors that are unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated that can provide documentation of:
- A negative COVID Antigen test collected within one day of visitation; OR
- A negative COVID PCR test collected within two days of visitation; OR
- Recovery from COVID-19 within the prior 90 days.
- For visitors who return for multiple consecutive days to visit, proof of negative test will be required every third day.
Visitors of COVID-19 suspected or confirmed patients:
- Two visitors from the same household per day will be allowed (must also meet above criteria) for vaccinated or unvaccinated.
- Visitors of COVID patients may not access common areas and must leave the facility after visiting their loved one.
Visitors accompanying patients to Periop:
- One person per patient is allowed. They do not have to meet the criteria above.
- Periop visitors may stay for the duration of their loved one’s procedure (in a designated waiting area), however, we encourage you to wait outside of the facility and wait for a call from periop staff stating your loved one is ready to be picked up.
All visitors, regardless of vaccination status or test result, must:
- Always wear a well-fitting face mask (that covers the mouth and nose) upon entry and within the facility. a KN-95 respirator will be provided upon request;
- Wear any other personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the patient's room that facility personnel deem appropriate to the situation; and
- Physically distance from health care personnel and other patients/residents/visitors; and
- Be free from any COVID-19 symptoms
For special circumstances and in emergent situations (see exemptions below), visitors will be allowed without presenting proof of vaccination or negative test. For subsequent visits following the special circumstance or emergent situation, these visitors must comply with vaccine or testing requirements as soon as reasonably possible, but within 72 hours unless end of life.
The following exemptions will be considered special circumstances or emergent:
- Visitors who are visiting a patient in critical condition when death may be imminent
- Parent or guardian of a minor child
- Support person for a labor and delivery patient
- Caregiver for a patient that has altered mental status or developmental delays (where the caregiver provides safety)
Any exceptions to the visitation policy must be approved by the clinical area administrator/director.
Visitors of non-COVID patients may access common areas such as the cafeteria, Panera Bread or gift shop, however, we request that you remain in your loved ones’ room as much as possible.
There are no restrictions on same day re-entry after initial screening. Visitors can leave and come back the same day if they wish.
Potential visitors who are not feeling well are asked to send their good wishes with a call—951-486-4000—or a card.
*Fully Vaccinated means individuals who are considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19: two weeks or more after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna or vaccine authorized by the World Health Organization) or two weeks or more after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson and Johnson [J&J]/Janssen.
