Suicide Overdose Awareness to Resilience (SOAR) is a program under RUHS – Public Health's Injury Prevention Services department. It encompasses three comprehensive trainings primarily geared for 7th-12th grade students, parents, and staff in Riverside County.
Program Overview
SOAR is a comprehensive three-curriculum bundle designed to educate students on several key areas: preventing overdose, assisting peers in seeking professional care when having suicidal thoughts, and fostering resilience in the face of challenges.
To ensure meaningful discussions and support for students, SOAR also provides training for parents and staff on these important topics.
