Application Process for the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program

Prospective Residents

Eligible applicants will be considered on the basis of residency program-related criteria such as their preparedness, ability, aptitude, academic credentials, communication skills and personal qualities such as motivation and integrity. Programs will not discriminate with regard to sex, race, religion, color, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other applicable legally protected status.

Our selection criteria for prospective residents regarding interview and selection depends on multiple factors. These include academic performance, passed Boards (Part 1 and 2), and having done some research helps with their status. Strong letters of recommendation from Orthopaedic surgeons are important. Also, completing an audition rotation is strongly encouraged. This allows the prospective resident an opportunity to learn about our program and gain additional insight.
