Keeping You Safe

Here's What to Expect On Your Next Visit

The safety of our patients, staff and community is our highest priority. Riverside University Health System has many safety measures in place for our patients and their families to prevent exposure to COVID-19 in our hospital and clinics. Below are things that we are doing to help keep you safe while you are at the Medical Center or one of our Community Health Centers.

We are honored to care for you and look forward to serving your healthcare needs.

Screening and Separating Patients

  • Everyone entering, staff, will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms.
  • We screen and separate patients with known or suspected COVID-19 from other patients—this includes providing separate pathways and areas to limit the risk of transmitting the virus to others.
  • We implemented separate pathways very early and continue to this precaution at all entry points, including the emergency room and clinics.
  • When patients are hospitalized, those individuals with COVID-19 are placed in separate units with trained teams of healthcare providers who are wearing appropriate protective equipment.
  • Infectious patients will continue to be cared for in isolation, away from non-infectious patients.
Virtual Care Options

We can arrange for the appropriate level of care depending on your symptoms and needs. This includes phone and video visits with one of our providers. You may not even need to leave home for care.
