Educating to Raise Awareness and Promote Mental Wellness
Become an advocate for the community by engaging in specialized training designed for students, parents, and staff.
Under the SOAR initiative, there are various programs focused on preserving the mental health of youth in different areas. These include the Teen Suicide Awareness and Prevention Program (TSAPP), the Overdose Awareness and Prevention Program (OAPP), and the Resilience Initiative through Support and Empowerment Program (RISE)/Violence Prevention Program (VP). All trainings within SOAR can be delivered online or in person and typically last about an hour.
Partnering with School Districts
Partnerships with school districts enable their students to benefit from trainings offered by each program. Each school must establish a contract with SOAR to gain free access to all our services. By partnering with us, schools will receive the following benefits:
- All three training sessions
- Campaign boxes to help host events at the schools
- Opportunities for tabling events
- Additional resources for students
