RUHS is one of two hospitals nationwide to receive infection control training from CDC

Riverside University Health System - Medical Center was one of two hospitals nationwide selected to participate in Project Firstline’s Infection Prevention and Control Training Collaborative Project.

Project Firstline is a collaborative effort led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) aiming to provide engaging, innovative and effective infection control training for frontline workers as well as members of the public health workforce. Through Project Firstline, frontline workers from RUHS – Medical Center underwent a two-day training that equipped them with the tools necessary to train others and improve patient safety through collaboration and communication. RUHS – Medical Center plans to study the impacts of this training on the workforce and provide feedback and strategic plans to support integrating these valuable tools into the workforce around the country. RUHS – Medical Center is proud to continue building our team’s knowledge of infection control and be a leader in developing training that will impact.
