Children Services
Children’s Mental Health Clinics provide services to children with severe emotional and behavioral problems. Services include psychiatric evaluations, medication services, individual and family therapy, and case management services. Staff works closely with schools to provide services to students who experience academic problems as a result of their severe emotional problems. Parent partners offer support and advocacy services to parents whose children are receiving services at the clinic.

Assessment and Consultation Team (ACT)
ACT provides mental health consultation services on site at each DPSS office for open Child Protective Services cases. Referrals are made to county clinics or services may be authorized to a contract provider. All referrals must come through the child’s social worker. This program provides services to all regions of Riverside County.

Children's Case Management
Children’s Case Management provides screening of referrals for minors needing intensive residential treatment, as well as case consultation, case management and interagency coordination. These services are for minors at high risk for, or in need of, residential placement. Intensive adolescent and children’s residential services are available via contract through this program per referral from Placement Screening Committees and Individualized Educational Program (IEP) Teams. This program provides services to all regions of Riverside County.

Therapeutic & Residential Assessment & Consultation Team (TRAC)
Provides specialized assessment and consultation services to Social Services and Probation concerning minors who are placed in Group Homes by Riverside County or who are at risk of Group Home placement. TRAC also participates in Team Decision Making (TDM) meetings with Social Services and coordinates Therapeutic Behavioral Services for Riverside County Medi-Cal beneficiaries. This program provides services to all regions of Riverside County.
